Playa Chihuahua

Chihuahua is located only few meters away from El Potrero Stream mouth, guarded from the noise of Punta del Este's centre.

The beach, of an extension of approximately 500 meters, it is surrounded by sand dunes and pine trees.

Known by excellence as the naturist beach of Punta del Este since decades ago, the authorization to practice nudity was officialized only in 2001.

It characterize for its low dunes and the cleanliness of its sand, which is not only due to municipal care, but also to the great awareness among its concurring crowd.

It is also an ideal site for bird lovers, as many wild species can be appreciated in its surroundings.
